Terms and Conditions for Waste Warriors

1. Service Overview
Waste Warriors provides residential and commercial junk removal, including removal, hauling, and disposal of unwanted items. By booking, you agree to pay applicable fees and follow these terms.
2. Booking and Scheduling
– Accuracy: Provide accurate details about items, access, and location. Estimates depend on the information provided and the onsite assessment.
– Confirmation: We’ll confirm your service date/time and an arrival window.
– Rescheduling: We may reschedule due to weather, unsafe conditions, or events beyond our control.
3. Pricing, Payment, and Cancellations
– Pricing: Fees are based on volume, weight, access, and disposal costs. Pre-job estimates are approximate and may change if scope differs onsite.
– Payment: Due upon completion (we accept major payment methods). Deposits or minimums may apply.
– Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
4. Scope and Limitations
– Prohibited Items: We do not remove hazardous or restricted materials (e.g., chemicals, paints, solvents, explosives, biohazards, asbestos, fuel, certain batteries, pressurized tanks). Ask if unsure.
– Access and Safety: You must ensure safe, clear access to the removal area. We may refuse service if conditions are unsafe or inaccessible.
– Fixtures/Disassembly: Removal of items affixed to structures (e.g., built-ins, hot tubs, sheds) requires prior approval and may incur additional charges.
5. Title and Disposal
Once items are removed and payment is received, title transfers to Waste Warriors. Items may be disposed of, recycled, or donated at our discretion. We do not guarantee donation or recycling.
6. Liability and Indemnity
– Property Condition: We take care on every job, but are not responsible for incidental damage arising from pre-existing, concealed, or fragile conditions, or from moving large items through tight spaces.
– Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable service.
– Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Waste Warriors and its employees harmless from claims or expenses arising from your use of our services, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7. Warranties and Disclaimers
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no express or implied warranties regarding services or website content, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Photos and Communications
We may document work (e.g., before/after photos) for safety, quality, and recordkeeping. With your consent, we may use such materials for marketing. We may contact you regarding scheduling, invoices, and service updates; marketing emails are subject to your opt-in preferences.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content (text, images, logos, etc.) is owned by Waste Warriors or its licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, or modify content without written consent.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to those practices.
11. Third-Party Links
Any third-party links on our site are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
12. Refusal of Service and Termination
We may refuse service, cancel bookings, or terminate access if you violate these terms, create unsafe conditions, or interfere with service delivery.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in DuPage County, Illinois.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
